"I want to play a game."

Hi, I'm Maki. Somehow I've gotten to the point that I've done enough stuff in this community that I need a website now to catalogue stuff.

Stances

I'm not really one to care if someone else has differing opinions from me, but I have some stances that a lot of people may not want to associate with me for, so I'll just cut to the chase, right?

There are a couple listed here that are just important to me personally as well.

  • Pro para, pro transID, pro consang. Radqueer-aligned, but don't use the label.
  • Pro-c; not anti anti-c. Thinks contact discourse is useless, if not actively harmful; infighting just drives us freaks apart, and antis only see us all as rapists, anyway. Fighting for the rights of animals and youths in tangible ways is far more important than arguing about contact stances.
  • Animal & youth liberationist. Stop treating kids like animals and stop treating animals like property.
  • Very pro-bodily autonomy, always. Yes, even the extreme stuff you're thinking of- self harm, amputation, and CTB. You cannot stop someone from doing these things, anyway, you can only make sure someone has a safety net if things go wrong. I am perfectly happy cutting myself, actually!
  • I am thouroughly and completely against cancel culture and callout culutre. No, I don't care if your callout post is "different," I don't care if its just an "awareness post," you are STILL inciting harassment onto someone to the public. Block and move on.
  • Prison abolitionist, yes, including for whatever group you're thinking of right now. Anarchist-aligned.
  • Redemptionpunk; everyone deserves another chance (except for myself, of course).
  • Probably neutral (or even pro) for whatever controversial stance is going around; they usually aren't as bad as your skimmed first read-through made it seem, and you should try and understand the term fully before making some cringe call-out post that gets someone death threats.
  • Amoralist. I'll be real, if the only argument you have against or for something is that its the "right/wrong thing" idc.
  • Not a fan of anti-theists (not athiests, anti-theists). I believe everyone should have the right and freedom to practise whatever beliefs they have.
